Terms and Conditions
GENERAL TERMS & ACCEPTANCE
By booking, purchasing, or participating in any tour, retreat, excursion, activity, transportation, accommodation, or related service offered by G PERU ADVENTURE (“G PERU ADVENTURE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the policies applicable to their reservation.
Participation in travel and outdoor activities in Peru involves inherent risks. Guests are responsible for reviewing all information provided, supplying accurate personal and medical information relevant to their participation, following safety instructions, and determining whether they are physically and medically able to participate.
These Terms and Conditions apply together with the specific reservation, payment, cancellation, health, assumption-of-risk, liability, weather, itinerary-change, force-majeure, optional-activity, and other policies provided in connection with the applicable tour or retreat.
RESERVATION, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
To secure a reservation, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. Guests may alternatively choose to pay the full amount at the time of booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. A reservation is considered confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received.
Prices are listed in USD. Any applicable card processing fees will be disclosed before payment is completed.
If a guest cancels a reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:
* 45 days or more before the retreat start date: USD $50 cancellation fee.
* 20–44 days before the retreat start date: 30% of the total reservation amount is non-refundable.
* 0–19 days before the retreat start date: 100% of the total reservation amount is non-refundable.
No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, early departures, missed activities, or unused portions of the retreat resulting from the guest's personal circumstances.
WEATHER, ITINERARY CHANGES & FORCE MAJEURE
Due to the nature of travel in Peru, itineraries, transportation, accommodations, activities, and schedules may be modified, substituted, delayed, or cancelled when reasonably necessary due to weather conditions, road closures, landslides, natural events, transportation disruptions, strikes, governmental actions or restrictions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of G PERU ADVENTURE.
When changes are necessary, G PERU ADVENTURE will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable alternative whenever practicable, with guest safety and the overall travel experience as priorities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, G PERU ADVENTURE is not responsible for additional expenses, losses, delays, missed connections, cancellations, or other consequences resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Any additional accommodation, transportation, meals, flights, insurance, or other personal expenses resulting from such circumstances are the responsibility of the guest unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY
Participation in tours, retreats, hiking, yoga, outdoor excursions, transportation, and travel in mountain or rural areas of Peru involves inherent and unpredictable risks. These may include, without limitation, altitude-related illness, falls, physical injury, illness, changing weather, difficult terrain, road conditions, wildlife, transportation incidents, limited access to medical care, and other hazards associated with travel and outdoor activities.
By participating, the guest knowingly and voluntarily accepts these inherent risks and assumes responsibility for their personal safety and wellbeing.
Guests are responsible for determining that they are physically and medically able to participate and for disclosing relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, medications, injuries, or other circumstances that could affect their safe participation. Guests should obtain appropriate medical advice before traveling or participating when necessary.
G PERU ADVENTURE may, when reasonably necessary for safety, modify or discontinue a guest's participation in an activity. Any emergency medical, evacuation, transportation, hospitalization, or related expenses incurred by a guest are the guest's responsibility, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By voluntarily participating in any tour, retreat, excursion, activity, transportation, or related service provided or arranged by G PERU ADVENTURE, the guest acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with such participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the guest agrees to release and hold harmless G PERU ADVENTURE, its owners, representatives, guides, instructors, employees, partners, contractors, and service providers from claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from injury, illness, property loss or damage resulting from inherent risks of the activities or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
This release does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded, waived, or limited under applicable law.
OPTIONAL CEREMONIES & ACTIVITIES
Participation in any optional ceremony, wellness practice, cultural experience, or additional activity offered during the retreat is entirely voluntary. A guest may decline participation without affecting the remainder of their retreat experience.
Guests are responsible for informing G PERU ADVENTURE and the relevant facilitator of any medical condition, medication, allergy, sensitivity, pregnancy, injury, or other circumstance that could affect their ability to participate safely.
Guests should follow the instructions of the relevant guides, instructors, or facilitators and make participation decisions based on their own health, comfort, and personal circumstances.
PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT
Photography and video may be taken during tours, retreats, and activities for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.
Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos must inform G PERU ADVENTURE before or during the program. Declining consent will not affect participation in the tour or retreat.
GUEST AGREEMENT & ACCEPTANCE
By completing a reservation, making a payment, or participating in a G PERU ADVENTURE program, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted these Terms and Conditions and the policies applicable to their reservation.
The guest confirms that the information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete and agrees to comply with reasonable instructions provided by guides, instructors, facilitators, and representatives of G PERU ADVENTURE.
By participating, the guest voluntarily assumes the inherent risks associated with the program and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, agrees not to bring claims against G PERU ADVENTURE, its owners, representatives, guides, instructors, partners, contractors, or service providers for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or expenses arising from inherent risks or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
